A mini “Open Day” for
limited numbers who wish to practise and improve their
skills in either Sailing or Paddle Sports. Qualified
instructors will be on hand to assist and full safety cover
will be in place.
Participants should bring plenty of changes of clothes,
towels, packed lunch & flask. Suitable footwear, waterproofs
& hat should also be brought whatever the weather.
All Buoyancy Aids & equipment will be supplied.
It is anticipated that we will be able to take participants
through the RYA (Sailing) or BCU (Canoeing) awards scheme to
be able to make the necessary awards as well as signing off
Scout & Guide participation awards.
Drop off at Moor Crag for a 10:00 start, day will finish at
16:00. Parking available at Great Tower
